Blogger Spotlight: Allie Brosh

There are a few rare gems that you stumble upon in this great wide Blogger world, and the particular one I am writing about was not even discovered by me through Blogger. In fact, I found out about this goldmine through Tumblr, and thank God I did.
Never, and I literally mean never, have I found a blog quite so hilarious as Allie Brosh's Hyperbole and a Half. Her odd MS Paint drawings, childhood anecdotes, and stories of her intellectually-challenged dog combine to create something quite magical. The first night I found her blog, I spent hours upon hours going through her archives reading every possible blog entry there was to read. I think I cried about five or six times--tears of pure joy, mind you. There's no doubt in my mind that she has taken some, shall we say, artistic liberties with her stories, but who cares? It's entertainment! Not just entertainment, however, but there is a real comedic genius to this particular Blogger. I wish I had a fraction of this creative woman's humor.
